Stepping into the Boathouse for a Christmas getaway was like entering a winter wonderland on the Kennebunk River. the charming nautical theme of the Main House rooms beautifully complemented the stunning views, creating a serene and cozy atmosphere for a memorable stay. the convenience of the location allowed us to easily explore downtown Kennebunkport and enjoy the local boutiques and restaurants, adding a touch of luxury to our holiday escape. the restaurant's creative dishes with Maine flavors were a delightful culinary experience, and the bar offered a great selection of craft cocktails to unwind after a day of sightseeing. As someone who appreciates attention to detail and exceptional service, I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating, ensuring our needs were met throughout our stay. the intimate setting of the hotel, with only 12 guest rooms in the Main House, provided a sense of exclusivity and personalized attention that truly enhanced our visit. Whether you're seeking a romantic retreat, a weekend getaway with friends, or a solo adventure, the Boathouse Waterfront Hotel is a gem in Kennebunkport that promises a magical escape by the water's edge.
